Respiratory Guidance & Home Support
With over 30 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, I offer practical guidance for individuals and families who need support understanding respiratory equipment, creating a safer home environment, and living with greater comfort, confidence, and independence.
My goal is to help you or your loved one better understand daily respiratory care in a clear, supportive, and compassionate way.
About Me
I am a Respiratory Therapist with over 30 years of experience helping people in a wide variety of care settings.
Throughout my career, I have worked in critical care, patient transport, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes in different states across the United States, including Hawaii.
I have also provided respiratory equipment guidance and support in Madrid, Spain, assisting both English- and Spanish-speaking individuals and families.
Respiratory Equipment Guidance
Choosing respiratory equipment can feel overwhelming, especially when there are many devices, accessories, and settings to understand.
I can help you better understand the purpose of your equipment and which options may fit your daily needs, routine, and comfort more effectively.
Equipment Options That Fit Your Budget
Respiratory support should also make practical sense financially.
I can help you understand equipment options that may offer more comfort, mobility, or convenience while also respecting your budget and personal situation.
Safe Independence at Home
Independence becomes easier when your home setup is safe and adapted to your respiratory needs.
I can guide you on important details such as oxygen tank placement, electrical outlet safety, extension cord awareness, equipment cleaning, and when supplies or parts may need replacement.
Creating a Healthier Home Environment
Your home environment can strongly affect how comfortably you breathe every day.
I can help guide you in understanding factors such as dust, carpets, pets, allergens, ventilation, humidification, and general cleanliness that may influence respiratory well-being.
More Freedom, More Time with Loved Ones
The right respiratory support can make it easier to spend more meaningful time outside your home.
I can help you better understand equipment options that may allow for safer outings, more flexibility, family visits, and greater confidence when adjusting to different environments or travel situations.
Avoiding Harmful Cleaning Products
Some cleaning products can be irritating not only to the lungs, but also to respiratory equipment.
I can help you better understand which products or habits may be too harsh, allergenic, or potentially harmful for your home environment and respiratory comfort.
Support for Families and Caregivers
Respiratory challenges affect not only the person receiving care, but often the whole family.
I can provide practical support and educational guidance for family members or caregivers helping someone at home, in rehabilitation settings, assisted living, or nursing facilities.
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone
Home respiratory care can feel complicated, especially when equipment, safety, and daily routines become overwhelming.
My goal is to offer practical information and supportive guidance so you and your loved ones can feel more informed, more prepared, and more at ease.
